Mortal Kombat Rebirth – new web series

I saw this short film last year when it first came out and really enjoyed it. It was created by Kevin Tancharoen who did this as a calling card as he wanted to make a feature version. This short cost him $7,500 and 2 months in post.

Fast forward 9 months and I find out today that a new original web series is being launched, directed by Tancheroen and financed by Warner Bros. It due to be released on April 19th. To find out more read the full post on gigaom.com

Him, Her and Them – Facebook film

Him, Her and Them looks like an interesting project. Dubbing itself as the first film of its kind, it is planned for release on facebook walls in April.

The premise is as follows:

This is the story of a young man who lives in a city.
He has a decent job and his own apartment.
He is in love with a girl at his office, but he is too shy to do anything about it. He eats a lot of take-out food. Things are ok.

Then one day, as he is walking down the street, he is asked a riddle.

Parkour – Free Running – Freaking Crayzey

When I see people doing such amazing things with their bodies and the guts to do things like this, it makes my insides go all funny. When you see someone flying through the air with nothing but their confidence and a 30 foot drop to concrete between them I am full of admiration.

This is a great film, filmed & edited by Claudiu Voicu and shot in and around the Southbank area of London. Claudiu manages to make London look lovely.
